I purchased a mini clearvue to use with my Festool CT-22 and Shop Vac
(SV) vacuums. I've been using the mini
cyclone since january 2006 and there's almost nothing in the SV
canister. It's been used to vacuum dry-wall dust, wood chips, saw
dust, and the floors in the house and outbuilding of general debris.
Here is a shot of the
canister and of the filter. Now, using the mini-cyclone with the
Festool CT-22 has been a drastically different: the bag fills up rather
quickly because the cyclone only
separates roughly a third of the material. Why? The SV and
the CT-22 have roughly the same specs and the system is the same:
I disconnect the hose from the vacuum only.
